Heart care road trial could last for up to a year

A trial scheme road testing controversial plans to treat serious heart attack patients outside of Suffolk could now last up to a year it has emerged. Ben Gummer, Tory candidate for Ipswich, welcomed the extension to the consultation. "It's good news that they are now taking seriously the fact that people in Ipswich and east Suffolk do not get as good emergency heart care as people living in Norwich and Cambridge," he said.
