What's Ben doing for Gainsborough Ward?
Ben has been out and about across Gainsborough, from Morland Road allotments to the Riverside Drop-In Centre. It was on one of his many sessions meeting Gainsborough residents that Ben picked on concerns over speeding drivers in Maryon Road. “People explained that much had been promised but nothing actually done”, says Ben. “So I got onto the Council and ensured that the traffic calming scheme was brought forward. It’s the kind of local action that makes a real difference to people’s lives.”
