Tanya De Hoedt, the new Transport portfolio holder for Ipswich and the Conservative councillor for St. John's ward has hit the ground running by meeting with residents of Wherstead Road to see how Ipswich can better reflect their concerns.
A number of practical ideas were put forward to help co-ordinate the bus services on the road which has suffered with the withdrawal of the Route 66 bus route by First Eastern Counties.
Tanya said "This sort of practical action is exactly what Conservatives specialise in. We want to listen and deliver rather than simply tell you what you should want."
